Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 4, 5, 12, 24, 27 and Patrick Hutchinson won £100. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
Saturday’s big game with Clonoe proved to be a prime example of a game of “two halves”. With the half time score standing at 4-05 to 1-02 in favour of Clonoe we came roaring back into the game and Clonoe were hanging on to a two point lead at the final whistle, 4-10 to 4-08. Other results ensured our Division 1 status for 2013 and this was no more than our efforts over the year deserved. We have one game left away to Trillick on Saturday.
Congratulations to Eoin Bradley and Gary Wallace on being nominated for the Teamtalk All Star awards. Give them your support to help reach the final panel by voting here.
Two fundraisers for November – Guest Tea and Last Man Standing. The date for Guest Tea and Social Evening in Dún Uladh is Sunday 18th November and all sections of the Club will be involved. Last Man Standing is planned to begin on Saturday 24th November. So far we have had three very successful Come Dine With Cappagh nights and there will be more over the next few months.
Final Youth activity for the year is at U-13 Level. One of our teams has qualified for the Semi Final and a meeting with Moortown this Saturday morning. We wish them well in their quest for a place in the Final. Our other team will also be travelling this Saturday away to Brackaville. Well done to the players, coaches and parents.
Our Club Colours were also proudly on display in the Citywest Hotel Dublin at the World Handball Championships. Once again, players, coaches and parents did us proud.
