Cappagh U-8 and U-10 squads attended a tournament hosted by Carrickmore on Saturday 6th October.
The U-8s competed well with matches against Beragh, Loughmacrory, Pomeroy, Carrickmore and M
oy. The squad narrowly missed out on qualification for the semi-final stage.
The U-10s were grouped with Coalisland, Pomeroy, Loughmacrory, Beragh and Carrickmore and after some fine performances, Cappagh found themselves in the final of the Johnny Begley Cup meeting the host club Carrickmore in the final.
The team performed well in the final but lost out by a few scores to Carrickmore. Runner-up medals were presented to the squad and Cappagh would like to thank Ryan Daly for the invitation to the well organised tournament.
