Our U-16 Hurlers were beat by Naomh Colmcille on Tuesday evening, 4th September, by 3 points.
This team played all their games in the most sporting way with their skill developing all year.
On the night we had great performances all across the park from Michael Lench in goals to Rian McCall at corner forward.
Eoghan Winters, Aaron Devine and young Mallon marshaled the back line brilliantly. Sweeney and O’Neill tried hard in the middle and McCance and Mullin pulled the strings up front.
Nathan Donnelly is ever improving in his second full year hurling and all players will give a big boost to the Minor team who start in a couple of weeks time.
