Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 3, 5, 26, 27, 30 and 21 winners each received £5.The main jackpot stays at £5000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
Monday night’s Bingo, 30th April, is a Big Bingo with proceeds going to the Parish Development Fund and we appeal for support.
We wish Sean Fox, Mark Bradley and the Tyrone Minor footballers every success in Saturday’s Ulster Minor League Final and Dermot Carlin and the Tyrone Senior footballers all the best in Sunday’s National League Final. The Tyrone Minor Hurlers were in action last night and the Senior Hurlers return to action next weekend. We wish the county and our representatives all the best.
Our Reserves played well on Sunday and deserved to get a point on the League Table with their 0.11 to 1.8 draw with Greencastle and, in fact, nearly came back to get both points. In the Senior League game we led fairly comfortably until mid way through the second half. We didn’t drive on and had to fight to survive a spirited Greencastle revival when they cut our 5 point lead to a 1 point lead. Our defence was sound and we claimed both league points, 0.10 to 0.9. We wish Tiernan McCann a speedy recovery from his hand injury.
Our Minor footballers played well but had the severe disappointment of conceding a goal to Dromore with the last kick of the game. In the Juvenile league there was a vastly improved performance but Omagh pulled away in the last ten minutes.
We wish Odhran McDonald a quick recovery from his operation and our best wishes go to Teri McCusker who was injured on Monday night. Mark Bradley, a member of Cairde Cappagh and a coach for our young girls, is thankfully making a good recovery from his injury received from a fall.
