U13 Hurlers - Jim McGurn Cup
Our under 13 hurlers played in the Jim McGurn Cup hosted by the Beragh Red Knights in glorious sunshine.
This invitational tournament had ourselves, Strabane Shamrocks, Omagh St.Endas, Dromore and Beragh in attendance with each team playing each other in a league basis with the top two teams reaching the final. Our young team went through the league unbeaten playing some great hurling along the way. We played Shamrocks in the final and things were all square at half time 4 point each. In a low scoring second half the two teams gave it their all with Strabane edging the game by two points at the final whistle. Well done to all the boys and all but one are available again next year. The team was Darragh McGinn, Brian McSorley, Rian McCaul, Jacob Corry, Rory Cunningham, John McGurk, P.T. Cunningham and Michael Lench.
