Those who wish to play U21 football are reminded that there will be a get together this Friday night at 7.30pm. We will play Donaghmore in the U21 competition on a date to be confirmed.
A first round of Scor na nOg will be held in Dun Uladh on Saturday November 5th at 7.30pm.
You are very welcome to attend a big social night Next Friday night, October 28th to celebrate our participation in Scor down the years.
It has been 20 years since Killyclogher St Marys / Cappagh won its first All Ireland Scór title. To honour the Achievement of the Instrumental Group of Paul McGlinchy, Raphael McDonnell & Barry McLaughlin the Culture Committee have organised a gala night and are asking members past and present to come along and join us for music and dance from current and previous competitors and winners in Scór Sinsear & Scór na nÓg.
Entry is free and the night will get started at 9pm with a presentation in the Clubrooms followed by festivities in Dun Uladh.
It is now time to begin drawing up your formal motions and suggestions for discussion at the AGM. The Club AGM has been fixed for Sunday 4th December. All members will be notified & will recieve their nomination & ballot forms.
We extend sincere sympathy to the family circles of the late Michael Devlin, Joe Keyes and Charlie McCrystal all of whom have connections with our club. The tragic and untimely death of Drumragh stalwart Cathal McLaughlin came as a great shock and we sympathise with his family circle and with his club.
Well done to our members who took part in the gruelling SouthWest 200 last weekend, rainsing funds & awareness for Prostate Cancer.
Cappagh
The defeat of our U13 footballers on Saturday brought competitive action at youth level to an end. We will have our usual Presentation Night to celebrate a packed programme of activities. As soon as arrangements are in place the date will be announced. This has become an important event in our calendar and, as usual, players, friends, coaches, parents and guardians will come together. Coaches are asked to provide Sean O’Kane with names of young people in their group.
Cappagh Ladies
The Cappagh Ladies Club would like to extend its sympathy to Tyrone Ladies Player Sinead McLaughlin and the rest of the McLaughlin family Drumragh on the tragic death of Cahal, our thoughts and prayers are with them at this sad time.
Congratulations to all those who took part in the SouthWest 200 over the weekend and especially the three teams from Cappagh.
The Club would also like to Congratulate both Sperrin Og and St Enda’s on reaching the Junior and Intermediate Ulster Club Finals.
