CLUB NOTES: September 21st

We host the Grade 3 Minor Final between Brackaville and Urney this Saturday at 12.30pm. We would like the help of a number of stewards to ensure the smooth running of the game. Help will be welcome and needed any time from 11.30am onwards.
All those who wish to play Under 21 football are asked to come to the club rooms on Saturday at 6.00pm.
Cappagh
Saturday’s Under 16 Semi Final with Ardboe went to extra time and a last gap goal from a penalty took it to a replay. So both teams will have it all to do over again when they meet in the replay.
In our two Under 13 games we beat Dromore and lost to Tattyreagh. This weekend we play Errigal Ciaran and Brackaville.
Our Under 8 footballers finish off the year with a series of mini games and a coaching element on Saturday 24thSeptember, 10.00am to 12noon in Fintona. Our Under 10 footballers will also have mini games and coaching on Saturday week, 1st October, to finish off their year.
After that there will be move towards indoor coaching and the hurling coaches are already making plans.
Cappagh Ladies

The Best of Luck to our senior Ladies who will be taking part in the Intermediate  TESCO All Ireland Sevens which is being held in St. Sylvester’s GAA Club and Naomh Mearnóg GAA Clubs, in Dublin this Saturday the 24th
Anyone who is interested in helping out with the ladies football next season are asked to attend a meeting on Tuesday 27th September in the Cappagh Committee Room at 8pm, the meeting is also regarding any recommendations, motions etc which could be put forward at the Ladies AGM.
Despite the success of our Seniors this year being promoted to Division One our ladies have struggled to continue to improve, we have a hugely talented pool of young players coming trough in all ages groups and we would urge anyone who believes they can help with management and coaching at Under 14, Under 16 & Minor levels come along to the meeting and help as we prepare for the year ahead.
