CLUB NOTES: August 31st

Our Senior footballers put up a great performance last Friday night and for much of the game took the battle to current champions, Coalisland. In the end the holders pulled away to a victory which they had to fight hard for. Well done to our players,
management team and supporters.
We play Moortown on Saturday in the last league game of the year at 5.30pm. Our Reserves are scheduled to play Moortown on Saturday and Coalisland in the Reserve Knock Out on Monday.

Some of our cyclsts continue to ride the roads and will be taking part in the upcoming SouthWest 200 raising Funds for the John McGirr Fund, supporting Prostate Cancer Research. They have organised a Flame Grilled Cycle on September 10th, with routes to suit all abilities (40/50/60 miles) leaviing the Parish Hall @ 9.30am and later that evening they will be holding a Barbecue in the Village Inn (tickets available from McGinns), everyone is welcome.

Cappagh
Our Under 12 footballers had an enjoyable and very successful tournament in Trillick last Saturday. Tomorrow evening, Thursday, they assemble at 5.45pm to travel to Dunmoyle to take part in a tournament organised by Errigal Ciaran.
The action begins for the Under 13s this Saturday and we have games in two divisions. Our Juveniles play N. Mhuire in the league Quarter Final on Sunday at 6.15pm.
Cappagh Ladies
The U16’s continue to progress and narrowly missed out against Rock on Monday evening in Ballinamullan.  U16 training continues on Monday’s and Wednesday’s at 7pm as normal.
Training has recommenced for U12s on Wednesday’s from 6-7.15pm. Ladies Fundamentals Coaching Course, there will be a Fundamentals Coaching Course held in Omagh Youth Sport on September 10th. It is recommended that all coaches and mentors involved with teams at all age levels have completed this course. To reserve a place please email Martin Conway tyroneladieschair@gmail.com.
