CLUB NOTES: June 7th
We travelled to Trillick last night, Wednesday, for Senior and Reserve league games and on Sunday we have home games with Moy. Ahead of us we will have a championship game with Coalisland but we have a number of important league games before that. Sunday’s games are at 2.15pm and 3.45pm. There will be a meeting, tonight, Thursday, at 8.00pm.

Cappagh
We only entered the Grade 4 Under 14 league to provide football to as many as possible. So we fielded teams in Grade 1 and Grade 4. Not only did we participate but we also played well and we contest the Grade 4 Final on Sunday at 6.45pm in Loughmacrory with Killeeshil standing between us and a league title. Our Minor footballers, played with injuries throughout the competition, overcame the difficulties to claim a place in the quarter finals.  That game will probably be played on Wednesday 15th June, with Eglish providing the opposition.

The Under 8s and Under 10s have been enjoying coaching sessions and Blitzes and it will be the turn of the Under 12s to go into action this Saturday morning. Competitive action begins for the Juveniles in 3 weeks’ time. They have a friendly tonight, Thursday, at 7.00pm with Newtownstewart and will play Fintona on Saturday. Training at 6.00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. County Finalists Cappagh Ladies will be holding A Night at the Races next Friday the 17th June in the Village Inn. On that night there will also be Men’s league football in Ballinamullan. Senior and Reserve players and supporters are asked to go to the Village Inn to support the Ladies’ night. The horses are on sale at £10 and can be bought from any of the ladies players or management. Races can be sponsored for £50.

U8 – 12 hurling coaching continues on Thursady evening 6 – 7pm. U14 hurlers are fixed to play in the Championship also on Thursday evening but some query on the fixture with the B football league final on possibly Friday or Saturday. Players will be informed, with Sunday evening a possibility. Next Thursday (16th) it is hoped to have Michael Glover the Ulster Council coach for Tyrone/Donegal, take the Hurling training session. Also it is hoped to have a Primary 7 team take part in a blitz in Lisnaskea on Friday 17th. More details at Thursdays training.
