Well done to our U14 hurlers today. (8/5/11) The competed in the Grade 1 Feile this year and put on a great performance. The played Carrickmore in the first game which was affected by strong winds with Eire Ogs finishing winners. In the second game the boys got of to a great start, scoring early and kept the lead to the very end against N. Columcille. In the final group game against Dungannon, they put up their strongest showing. All the final year U14s gave stirling performances backed up by the U12s. D
rawing at half time and losing at the final wistle by a single point. The victory was on in the last few minutes as the boys peppered the goals but could not deliver the final blow. Well done again to all the boys and to team mentors Brian McGurk, Eamonn Corry and Pauric Quinn.
