Please note the the first shipment of bikes will be loaded onto trucks tomorrow at the Parish Hall from 6.15pm, you will be contacted by your team leader with further details.
It is vitally important that each cyclist takes charge of their own bike, and wrapping it for the journey ahead. Every care will be taken by the event organisers but it is the individual responsibility of the participant to adequately wrap his or her bike!
The main areas to be secured are: PEDALS, DE-RAILER (rear wheel gearing), HANDLEBARS & WHEELS.
Each bike will placed in the lorry in alternate directions, secured and will have cardboard between each. Examples of bike wrapping above & below.
