With only one weekends worth of training before the big event, this Sunday March 6th will see the parish roads filled with cyclists taking part in the first ‘le Tour de Cappagh‘.
This team event will be departing from Killyclogher at 10.00am and will take a route through Mountfield, Knockmoyle, Strathroy & back to the village. This ‘fun event’ is not only essential training for the ‘Croker to Cappagh’ participants but we hope it will be a fun day out for casual cyclists and for spectators!
We hope all Teams & all competitors can take part on the day. Refreshments will be served in the Parish hall after the event.
We urge the people of the Parish to come on the day and cheer on the riders as they pass through the local community. The event will be taking place rain or shine so your support may well help many of us get to the finish line!
