Club Notes: April 15th

Winning numbers in the club lotto were 5, 6, 14, 26, 27 and Fearghal McDonald won £100. The jackpot increases now to £5,100 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual on Monday evening. You can enter online via www.killycloghergaa.com/play-lotto.

Our online merchandise shop is now live and can be accessed at www.killycloghergaa.com/clubshop. For your convenience, a number of items are still available in the club shop at Ballinamullan on Thursdays between 7:00 and 8:00pm. The half-price sale continues until all remaining stock is cleared.

Our senior men were defeated by Eglish in the Jim Devlin Cup semi-final on Saturday past.

Good luck to our reserve men who begin their league campaign on Friday evening, when they travel to Galbally for a 7:00pm throw-in.

Our senior ladies began their league campaign on Tuesday evening when they travelled to Trillick. They host Omagh in round two next Tuesday evening at 6:45pm at Ballinamullan.

Our minor boys drew away to Loughmacrory last Tuesday evening. They play Omagh tomorrow evening, Thursday, at 6:45pm at Ballinamullan and they travel to Cookstown on Sunday for a 2:00pm throw-in.

Our minor girls defeated Drumquin last Tuesday at Ballinamullan and they now have a break until round four.

Our U16 camogs are due to host Dungannon at Ballinamullan tomorrow evening, Friday.

Our U14 boys were defeated away to Aghyaran last Saturday morning and they play Moortown tonight, Wednesday.

Our U14 girls host Errigal Ciaran at Ballinamullan this Sunday morning at 11:00am.

Good luck to Jamie Kelly, James Maguire, Charlie Meenan and the Tyrone minors in this Saturday’s Ulster Championship match at home to Armagh.

Well done to Grace Monaghan and Olivia O’Kane who played with the Tyrone U14 girls in last Saturday’s Ulster Platinum Final.

This Saturday is our annual John’s Day in remembrance of John Rafferty who remains firmly in all our thoughts. Youth activities will take place from 10:00am to 12:00pm, a colour-run at 12:10pm and the Sevens Senior Football Tournament begins at 1:00pm, with teams from Tyrone, Derry, Monaghan and Fermanagh. There will be a bucket collection for St. Vincent de Paul. Please come along and enjoy the day.

Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Mary Theresa Treacy (Drumnakilly Road) whose grandchildren represent us on the field and other family members are actively involved and strong supporters of our club.
