Club Notes: September 10th

Winning numbers in the club lotto were 9, 10, 12, 16, 22 and eleven winners each won £10. The jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual on Monday evening. You can enter online on our website or via Klubfunder.

Our online merchandise shop is now live and can be accessed at www.killycloghergaa.com/clubshop. For your convenience, a number of items are still available in the club shop at Ballinamullan, which will remain open on Thursdays between 7:00 and 8:00pm until remaining stock is cleared.

Our senior men play Loughmacrory in the Tyrone Senior Championship first round this Friday evennig at 8:30pm at Healy Park. Patrons are reminded that this is a ticket-only event. We wish the players and management the very best of luck.

Commiserations to our senior ladies who were defeated by Errigal Ciaran last Sunday evening in the championship quarter-final. Their focus now returns to the senior league and a final match against the Fianna.

Our U16 boys’ grade one team defeated Clonoe last Wednesday in the league and they travel to Carrickmore this Saturday at 1:00pm for another league match.

Our U16 girls defeated Donaghmore in the grade one championship semi-final last night, Tuesday, and now have a county final to look forward to.

Well done to all our handballers who took part in the Lough Showdown last weekend. Successful players included Orrin McAleer (winner of Men’s Challenger), Maria Hinds (winner of Ladies Challenger Plate), Conor Keenan (winner of Men’s C), Brian McAleer (runner-up in Men’s B) and Karla Corcoran (winner of 17 & Under Girl’s Plate). Overall, a very successful weekend for Killyclogher handball.

Thank you to everyone who helped out at Ballinamullan on Sunday ensuring the smooth running of us hosting a championship double-header. We host another championship match this Sunday and all help will be greatly appreciated.
