Club Notes: April 9th

Winning numbers in the club lotto were 3, 13, 14, 15, 27 and six winners each won £20. The jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual on Monday evening. You can enter online on our website or via Klubfunder.

The club merchandise shop will be open tomorrow night, Thursday, as usual between 7:00 and 8:00pm. Price drop – a selection of items of various sizes are being reduced in the club merchandise shop.

Our senior ladies were defeated by Glenelly last Thursday in the preseason competition and this Sunday evening they are away to Kildress. Last Sunday, our senior ladies and management took part in a sponsored abseil challenge down the Europa Hotel Belfast. Well done to all involved and thank you to everyone who sponsored them.

Our minor boys’ grade two team defeated Kildress on Sunday while the development team were beaten by Clonoe. This Sunday, the grade two team travel to Coalisland and the development team travel to Dromore.

Our minor girls were defeated by Drumquin last Thursday, played St. Macartan’s on Tuesday night and play Aghaloo next Tuesday, 15th April.

Our U16 camogs played Éire Óg on Monday evening at Ballinamullan.

Our U14 boys drew with Beragh on Saturday morning and are at home to Eglish this Saturday morning. They are away to Trillick next Wednesday evening, 16th April.

Our U14 girls grade one team were defeated by Dromore on Sunday and the development team were defeated by Omagh. This Sunday, the grade one team are away to Errigal Ciaran and the development team are at home to Dromore. The development team are also at home to Kildress next Wednesday, 16th April.

Commiserations to our Scór Sinsear Set Dancers who missed out on the Ulster title last Saturday in Silverbridge. They can be proud, though, to call themselves County Champions.

Good luck to Ronan Barton, Ronan Broderick, Shea McGinn, Conall McKenna, Caolan McKinney and Omagh CBS who play St. Patrick’s Maghera in the Oisin McGrath Cup Final this evening, Wednesday, at 6:30pm in Kildress.

Congratulations to Thomas Meenan and Charlie Meenan who were part of the Tyrone Minor Ulster League / Jim McGuigan Cup winning team last weekend.

Good luck to Mark Bradley and Michael Rafferty and the Tyrone Seniors in this weekend’s Ulster Championship match against Cavan.
