Our senior men’s championship run ended on Sunday evening against Errigal Ciaran at the semi-final stage when we looked to have completed a wonderful comeback and earned a second chance via a replay. Unfortunately, a late final score ended our participation in this year’s championship. It was an incredible journey for us supporters to enjoy and we thank the players and management for the privilege. Indeed, a more than challenging start to the season turned into many positives for the club. Strong league performances for both reserves and seniors, a Reserve Knock-Out title and a phenomenal, pride-instilling senior championship run were hardly envisaged at the start of the year. For this, we must give great credit to Eoin Bradley and his management team who picked up the mantle when we needed it most. Well done and thank you to Eoin and all involved.

Our U16 footballers exited the championship on Saturday morning with a defeat at home to Donaghmore.

Good luck to our U16 hurlers who play Naomh Columcille/Duiche Neill on Friday night in the grade two league final at Garvaghey.

Our U16 girls play Edendork in the grade two championship preliminary round on Sunday morning at 11:00am at Ballinamullan.

Our U14 hurlers play Cumann Uí Néill, Tulach Óg in the grade two championship semi-final tonight, Wednesday, at MUSA at 7:30pm.

Our U14 camogs were defeated by Naomh Treasa, Dungannon in the Áine Hughes Memorial Plate final on Sunday morning. However, the girls can be hugely proud of reaching their first final in what is great progress for this code at our club.

Irish language lessons will begin at the clubrooms on Thursday 24th October for five weeks. There will be a group for beginners and improvers. Please indicate by 11th October if you would like to take part and the group you would prefer to join. If interested, please email: secretary.killyclogher.tyrone@gaa.ie.

Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Ann Grant (née McAleer). The McAleer family have a long and deep-rooted history of very active involvement in our club. Sincerely sympathy, also, to the family circle of the late Liam McCloskey (Letterkenny), some of whom are currently involved with our club.
