Winning numbers in the club lotto were 5, 6, 11, 27, 28 and five winners each won £20. The jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual on Monday evening. Club lotto can be played online via Klubfunder.

Never give up until the final whistle – Last Sunday at Páirc Colmcille, Carrickmore, we scored a last-minute goal to achieve a win over Omagh by the narrowest margin in the first round of the Tyrone Senior Football Championship. Well done to the players and management. We will now play Carrickmore in the quarter-final.
Our U16 boys’ grade one team play Donaghmore at Ballinamullan on Saturday morning and the development team are away to Errigal Ciaran.
The U16 girls’ grade two team drew with Drumquin in the league semi-final last night, Tuesday, and the development team play Omagh tomorrow night, Thursday, at 6:45pm.
The U16 hurlers are due to play Naomh Columcille/Duiche Neill next Monday evening.
Thank you to everyone who helped at Ballinamullan on Saturday when we hosted a Tyrone IFC match between Gortin and Owen Roes.
The club offers our most sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Basil Neville (Killycurragh). When our club reformed in 1965 Basil answered our call and moved from Beragh to play for the new club in his native Parish. He was declared “the captain” and played between midfield and centre half forward, leading us to West Tyrone Junior League and McElduff Cup titles in 1968 and narrowly losing out in the Tyrone Junior Football Championship final to Killyman in O’Neill Park, Dungannon. A fine handballer, Basil represented Brackey and was often in action at the Brickhouse in Cloughfin. In 1968 (year two of the reformed club), as well as playing, Basil joined the committee and was appointed Vice-Chairman. He was a subsequent long-standing and hard-working member of the Club Committee and also served as a Club Delegate at County level. After his playing career, Basil answered an appeal from the West Tyrone Board and became a referee where he was noted for his common-sense approach to officiating. We owe our current existence to great people like Basil Neville. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
