Club Notes: May 15th

Winning numbers in the club lotto were 6, 8, 14, 22, 23 and five winners each won £20. The jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual on Monday evening. Club lotto can be played online via Klubfunder.

The club merchandise shop will be open tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm.

Our reserve men are away to Edendork on Friday evening at 7:30pm.

Our senior ladies were defeated by Errigal Ciaran on Sunday in their opening league match.

Our minor boys were defeated by Trillick by the narrowest margin on Sunday afternoon.

Our minor girls played Killeeshil in Ballinamullan last night, Tuesday, play Aghaloo at home on Friday night at 7:00pm and are away to Coalisland next Tuesday.

Our U16 boys begin their season this Saturday morning with games away to Carrickmore (grade one) and at home to Dungannon (development).

Our U16 Camogs were defeated by Fr. Shields last Wednesday.

Our U15 boys were defeated by Clonoe by two points in Saturday’s Tyrone Féile Peile na nÓg semi-final.

Our U14 hurlers were defeated by St. Finbarr’s on Monday evening and play Benburb Duchie Neil next Monday in the Tain Óg league.

Our U14 girls grade one team were defeated by Kildress in the Platinum semi-final replay on Sunday morning. The development team were defeated by Dromore in their Platinum semi-final last night, Tuesday.

Everyone associated with the club expresses our very best wishes and good luck to Michael Rafferty (Captain) and Gavin Potter in this Sunday’s U20 All Ireland Final against Kerry in O’Moore Park, Portlaoise at 1:00pm. Damian Cox and Leo Green are part of the backroom team.

Well done to Thomas Meenan (minors) and Lucy Meenan (U14) who also represented us at county level last weekend.

Comhghairdeas mór to everyone who completed our 6-week beginners and refresher Irish language classes.

Well done to everyone who took part in the Darkness Into Light walk last weekend.
