Well done to our Reserve footballers who have reached the County Final after a 1-12 to 0-14 win over Omagh at Healy Park this evening.
Our men started slowly and found themselves 0-04 to 0-00 down after eight minutes. Ben Armstrong opened our scoring with a point after nine minutes.
Further points from Mark Flanagan, Joe McGurk and Oistin McAteer helped us go in level at half-time, 0-06 each.
We went ahead for the first time in the game after six minutes of the second half courtesy of a point from Oistin McAteer. A goal from Luke Murnaghan after eight minutes of the second half put three between the teams. Over the remainder of the half, Omagh brought the deficit back to the narrowest but our men held on for a one-point victory.
Final scoreline was Omagh 0-14 Killyclogher 1-12.
They will now play Pomeroy in the final. Details to be confirmed.
