Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 6, 13, 18, 25, 28 and seven winners each won £15. The jackpot stands at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.

Last Saturday’s closely contested senior league game with Derrylaughan ended in a one-point win for Derrylaughan. It is to the credit of both teams that they put on a competitive game in spite of the heavy rain. Our experienced men played with such assurance that we were always in the hunt. The enthusiasm and talent of our younger players nearly brought us victory. Our next game will be next weekend with Trillick with our game against Donaghmore finishing our programme the following weekend.
Our U16 boys fell to a heavy defeat last Saturday at the hands of a very impressive Donaghmore team in the league quarter final. However, they bounced back and had a good win over An Charraig Mhór last night, Tuesday, in the juvenile championship quarter-final. They will now face Donaghmore in the championship semi-final this Saturday. Details to be confirmed.
Our U13 boys had a good game with Dromore and in spite of defeat were impressive.
Our U16 girls defeated Drumragh in the championship quarter final on Sunday and are now away to Moortown this Sunday in the semi-final at 11:00am.
Our Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others team participated in the national blitz in Dublin last Saturday along with over 2,500 other enthusiastic players. This impressive display was a highlight of our first year of taking part.
Gaelic Start for P1, P2 and P3 boys and girls begins this Friday night in Dún Uladh. Registration at 6:30pm.
There will be a handball taster and registration morning this Saturday, 12th October, at 11:00am for all ages from 6 years up. Anyone interested is welcome to come along and have a go.
Congratulations to Brian McAleer on reaching the All Ireland U17 softball final in Roscommon last Sunday. He was narrowly defeated by Patrick Delaney from Tipperary in the final.
