Tír Eoghain put on a great team effort last Sunday and we can be proud of the parts played by our representatives Mark Bradley, Conall McCann and Tiernán McCann. We wish them all the best on Sunday’s semi-final.
At club level, our minor boys played a big part in a highly entertaining minor championship final. At the end of a great game just one point separated two highly talented and well-prepared teams with the title going to Errigal Ciaran. Both teams put on a fine exhibition which was recognised by the big crowd when they applauded both teams at the final whistle. We are grateful to the manager and coaches, to the players and their family members and friends who supported them all the way. We hope to see many of these young players performing at senior level in the not too distant future.
In the opening game in the juvenile football league our boys had a clear win over Fintona on Monday night and play An Charraig Mhór tomorrow night, Thursday, in Ballinamullan.
Our senior hurlers play Éire Óg in the Junior B final on Saturday at 6:00pm in Healy Park. We wish them well.
Our generous and loyal sponsors helped us to launch the 2018 Killyclogher Golf Classic last week at Omagh Golf Club. The event will take place on Friday 17th August. Please contact Sean O’Kane (07737495404) or Enda McCrory (07786652934) for more details.
