2016 was a very good year for us in terms of competitions won with success in Scór, Handball and of course Senior Football with the winning of the O’Neill Cup. It was also a very good year for us in terms of widespread participation in and promotion of a range of activities so it is only right that we should come together in a grand social night. Make it a date, Friday 10th March, for a Dinner Dance to look back at our success in 2016 and to look forward to an active and enjoyable year in 2017. Dress code is optional but feel free to go Black Tie and Formal Dress if you like. It’s entirely up to you.
Lights are being installed in the skills wall and we are also upgrading some equipment in the gym. Last Man/Woman Standing based on forecasting winners in the seven rounds of the National Football League Division 1 is now being promoted. The first NFL game is on Saturday 4th February so please get your entry in. Contact Sean O’Kane or any Senior Footballer.
All the best to Conall McCann, Tiernan McCann and Mark Bradley and Tyrone in the McKenna Cup Final on Saturday evening.
Well done to Fergal Meenagh and Nathan Donnelly who have been selected on the Tyrone U21 Panel.
Cappagh underage players Oran Toal and Michael Rafferty both played on the Dean Maguirc College U14 team that won the Ulster Colleges Gerry Brown Cup last week. The team was jointly managed by our Terry McCann. Well done to all.
We wish Joe Lowry a speedy recovery from his recent operation.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Mrs Maggie Hannigan. Her family have all strong GAA connections both on and off the field, including her daughter Margaret who did so much to promote our Club in Killyclogher Primary School.
