Club Notes: September 14th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 11, 17, 22, 25, 28 and 22 winners each won £5. The main jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
Wide range of club wear available in the shop tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm.
We had a good win over Trilick in the Senior Football Championship on Sunday and so qualified for a place in the Semi Final. Draw will be made this weekend.
Well done to Tiernan McCann on being selected in The Irish News All Stars team of 2016. A fitting reward for some great performances.
Our Juvenile boys staged a great second half performance to earn a well-deserved over Errigal Ciaran last Wednesday. We play Omagh tonight, Wednesday, in Garvaghey for a place in the last four.
Our U13 boys defeated Trillick and played An Charraig Mhór last night, Tuesday, and Errigal Ciaran tomorrow night, Thursday. They won the Shield Competition in the Dromore Tournament.
The U10 boys and girls also played in tournaments at the weekend in the Moy and Greencastle.
The Minor Hurling game with Eoghain Ruadh is provisionally fixed for this Saturday.
The U16 girls are away to Coalisland this Saturday in the League.
On Saturday last we hosted the Junior and Senior Ladies County Finals. A big thank you to all who worked to ensure the smooth running of this well-attended prestigious event.
There is a meeting tonight, Wednesday, at 8:00pm to make preparations for Scór na nÓg. Anyone interested should contact 07718375652 or 07732897726 after 6:00pm any evening.
We were saddened to learn of the death of Gerry McKnight. His family in Mountfield did much to support the GAA both on and off the field. We offer them our sincere condolences. Gerry continued to have a lively interest in the GAA in Philadelphia as well as keeping in touch with developments in our Club.
