Club Notes: February 24th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 10, 13, 23, 24, 27 and 20 winners each received £5. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
A wide range of attractive clubwear available in the shop tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm.
A big thank you to all who helped to make the registration day a big success last Sunday. A word of thanks also to John Hutchinson for his co-operation regarding the use of the Parish Centre. Membership for 2016 can now be paid to Kenny Laing.
Gaelic Start begins again on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 11:00am in the Parish Centre for P1, P2 and P3 boys and girls.
Our boys minor footballers got their league off to a winning start with a narrow 1-point victory over Errigal Ciaran on Saturday. This Saturday they play Loughmacrory at 4:00pm in Ballinamullan.
Our minor girls had no game last Saturday because of pitch conditions and are away to Drumragh on Saturday at 2:00pm.
Although we were not awarded any Ulster Scór titles last Saturday, our set dancers and ballad group put on great performances.
Well done to Sean Fox, Donal Magee and the Tyrone U21s on retaining the Shamrock Cup last Sunday.
Well done to our young hurlers Eunan Campbell, Matthew Coyle and Oisin O’Neill who were selected to play at the half time mini games at last Sunday’s NHL game. We hopefully will have three more young players at Tyrone’s next game.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Packie McAloon (Minegar) and especially to his sister Bernie McMullen and family who are strong supporters of our club.
Joe O’Connor suffered a set-back at the weekend and we wish him a speedy recovery. No doubt the spirit of ’68 will see him back to his old self again.
We also wish a speedy recovery to Marie Laing.
