Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 6, 9, 12, 18, 21 and Hugo Sweeney and Joe O’Connor each received £50. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which will take place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
On Sunday last we travelled to the Moy for games in Division 1. Our Reserves continued the good showing of the previous week with a well-earned victory. Our Seniors looked impressive at times and we ran out convincing winners with some good passing movements and some good scores but it was an understrength Moy team. This Saturday evening the action switches to Ballinamullan with Donaghmore as visitors for Reserve and Senior games at 4:30pm and 6:00pm. There will be an opportunity to see Division 1 action on the field and also to see the excellent development work of the past few months off the field.
The Ladies Football Senior League commences on Friday evening with a home game to St Macartan’s at 7:00pm.
Both our Boys’ Minor Football teams are in Championship action on Tuesday evening, 28th April.
Our Minor Girls had another League win on Monday evening against Owen Roes.
Our U14 Boys compete in the Tyrone Féile Finals tonight, Wednesday, in Garvaghey and will be playing Omagh in the League next Wednesday, 29th April.
Our Juvenile Hurlers are presently competing in the Tyrone U16 League.
Congratulations to Sean Fox, Mark Bradley and Donal Magee on the Tyrone U21s All Ireland Semi Final victory and all the best in the Final.
Plans and preparations are at an advanced stage for our popular annual 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk. Please register in advance through postal entries or online. It is also time to get in some extra training runs as the big date, May 23rd, is fast-approaching.
We extend sympathy to the family circle of the late Colm Devlin.
