Club Notes: July 2nd

Winning numbers in the club lotto were 5, 7, 24, 29, 30 and five winners will each receive £20. The jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual on Monday evening. You can enter online on our website or via Klubfunder.

Our online merchandise shop is now live and can be accessed at www.killycloghergaa.com/clubshop. For your convenience, a number of items are still available in the club shop at Ballinamullan, which will remain open on Thursdays between 7:00 and 8:00pm until remaining stock is cleared.

Our men’s senior team were defeated away to Loughmacrory last Friday evening in the league whilst the reserves recorded a win. Both teams are at home to Donaghmore on Friday night.

Our senior ladies resumed their league campaign last night, Tuesday, when they travelled to Dunmoyle to play Errigal Ciaran.

Our minor boys’ grade two team defeated Loughmacrory last Wednesday. Both minor teams now have a week off.

Our U16 boys began their seasons last Sunday. The grade one team were defeated by Cookstown at Ballinamullan and the development team were victorious away to Castlederg. They have no matches this Sunday.

Our U14 hurlers are due to play Cúchulainn an Ghleanna in the grade two league next Monday.

Well done to Mark Bradley, Michael Rafferty and the Tyrone Seniors who defeated Dublin in Croke Park on Saturday. They now have an All-Ireland semi-final against Kerry to look forward to on Saturday week.

The very best of luck from everyone in the club to Thomas and Charlie Meenan who have an All-Ireland Minor Final against Kerry this Sunday at 1:30pm at St. Conleth’s Park, Newbridge. Hopefully, we have new All-Ireland winner medalists on Sunday evening.

The Killyclogher Golf Classic takes place at Omagh Golf Club on Friday week, 11th July. This is always a day not to be missed. Contact Enda McCrory (07786652934) to book a tee time.

On Saturday past, we hosted Round 4 of the Camogie All Ireland Championship between Tyrone and Laois. Thank you to all the club helpers for making this possible.

On Sunday, we hosted the Warwickshire LGFA U15 girls who were in Ireland for the John West Féile 2025. Thank you to everyone from Warwickshire who visited us, which included one player with very strong Killyclogher connections.

The Club Tyrone Summer Camp took place in Ballinamullan this week. The large numbers are a testament to the popularity of this camp and our games.
