The club merchandise shop will be open tomorrow night, Thursday, as usual between 7:00 and 8:00pm. Price drop – a selection of items of various sizes are being reduced in the club merchandise shop.
Our men’s reserve team began their season with a win away to Gortin last Friday evening. They are away to Moortown on Friday evening. The senior men will begin their season this Sunday with Dromore as visitors to Ballinamullan. The reserve game will be at 2:15pm and the senior game will have a 3:45pm throw-in.
Our senior ladies began their league season last Thursday with a defeat away to St. Macartan’s. We have a bye in round two of the league and will play Errigal Ciaran in round three.
Our minor boys’ matches scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, were postponed so they will return to action next Wednesday, 4th June.
Our minor girls’ championship preliminary round match took place in a wet Loughmacrory on Sunday morning. Despite a good performance, we came out on the wrong side of a 3-06 to 1-08 scoreline.
Our U14 girls’ teams were in championship action this week. The grade one team defeated Donaghmore at Ballinamullan on Monday evening in the quarter-final. The development team travelled to Dromore last night, Tuesday, for a semi-final match.
Well done to Mark Bradley and Michael Rafferty and the Tyrone Seniors in their All-Ireland Championship Round 1 victory over Donegal in Ballybofey on Saturday evening. They play Mayo in Healy Park this Saturday evening.
Sean Broderick and Shane McCaul are members of the Tyrone U20 team who play Louth in the All-Ireland Final in Armagh tonight, Wednesday. Leo Green and Damian Cox are members of the backroom team. We wish them all the very best of luck tonight.
