Club Notes: April 23rd

Winning numbers in the club lotto were 2, 14, 15, 28, 30 and seven winners each won £15. The jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual on Monday evening. You can enter online on our website or via Klubfunder.

The club merchandise shop will be open tomorrow night, Thursday, as usual between 7:00 and 8:00pm. Price drop – a selection of items of various sizes are being reduced in the club merchandise shop.

Our senior ladies play Dromore in the Silver Preseason competition tomorrow night, Thursday, at 7:15pm at Ballinamullan.

Our minor boys’ grade two team are at home to Pomeroy on Sunday at 2:00pm and the development team are at home to Errigal Ciaran.

Our minor girls have a break until Tuesday week, 6th May, when they will travel to Loughmacrory.

Our U16 hurlers are due to play Bun Cranncha on Monday evening at Ballinamullan in the Táin Óg league.

Our U16 camogs are due to play Omagh tonight, Wednesday, and due to travel to Derrylaughan next Wednesday.

Our U14 boys play Loughmacrory tonight, Wednesday, and are at home to Pomeroy on Sunday morning at 10:00am. They are due to travel to Eskra next Wednesday.

Our U14 girls grade one team travel to Carrickmore tomorrow night, Thursday, for a league game at 7:00pm. The development team have a league semi-final match at home to Carrickmore on Sunday morning at 11:00am.

Good luck to Mark Bradley, Michael Rafferty and the Tyrone Seniors in this Saturday’s Ulster Championship semi-final against Armagh. Good luck, also. to Sean Broderick and Shane McCaul who represent the club in tonight’s Ulster U20 Championship semi-final against Derry. Well done to Thomas Meenan, Charlie Meenan and the Tyrone minors who won last Saturday’s Ulster Championship match against Fermanagh. Well done, also, to Lucy Meenan the Tyrone U14 Girls who won last weekend’s Ulster Platinum Final.

Tyrone GAA have now released their annual Gaeltacht Grants for Summer 2025. Applications will close on Friday 16th May at 5:00pm. Forms are available for download on our website.

This year’s John’s Day, in memory of our never forgotten John Rafferty, will take place this Saturday, 26th April, and will comprise the following events:

  • 9:00am at Ballinamullan – Youth Fun Day
  • 10:30am at Ballinamullan – 7 A Side Senior Football Tournament (featuring Killyclogher, Carrickmore, Dromore, Eglish, Kildress, Omagh and others)
  • Evening at The Village Inn – Watch the Tyrone match on the big screen followed by music and entertainment.
