Club Notes: October 23rd

Winning numbers in the club lotto were 2, 7, 8, 14, 25 and three winners will each receive £35. The jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual on Monday evening. Club lotto can be played online via Klubfunder.

The club merchandise shop will be open tomorrow night, Thursday, as usual between 7:00 and 8:00pm.

Our U16 boys play Carrickmore (grade one) and Dungannon (development) this Saturday morning in final league matches.

Our U16 hurlers played Naomh Columcille/Duiche Neill last night, Tuesday, in the grade two championship final but lost out to a last-minute goal at the end of extra-time. Hard luck to the boys.

Congratulations to our U16 girls who defeated Beragh in the grade two league final on Sunday morning. They are still awaiting details of their next championship match.

Congratulations to Mark Bradley and his Ulster teammates who won the Inter Provincial title at the weekend. It was great to see Mark back in action at Croke Park.

Well done to Conor Keenan, Jerry Keenan and Sharon Wilson who were all performing at a high level in the recent Tyrone Handball Championships.

Well done to our Scór na nÓg participants who all made it through last weekend’s county semi-final. Our ballad group, solo singing, recitation, céilí and set dancing representatives are all through to the county final on 9th November.

The club wishes the very best of luck to our members who are taking part in the Dublin marathon this Sunday.

Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late George (Geordie) Harkin who have strong connections to our club.

John Rafferty’s Anniversary Mass is this Sunday at 9:00am at St. Mary’s Church, Killyclogher.
