Never give up until the final whistle is becoming a theme for our men’s senior footballers. On Friday past, a last-minute goal earned a draw against Carrickmore in the senior championship quarter-final. The replay is tomorrow night, Thursday, at 7:30pm at Healy Park and all support welcome.

On Saturday past in Killeeshil, our senior ladies exited the senior championship to a strong Trillick side. This ends the senior ladies’ season but they can be especially proud of retaining their senior status.

Congratulations to our U14 hurlers and management on claiming the grade two league title on Saturday. A goal-fest in the second half proved decisive in the victory over Cumann Uí Néill Tulach Óg which was in the melting-pot at half time. They now await their championship outing.

Our U14 camogs defeated Derrylaughan Kevin Barry’s in the Aine Hughes Memorial Plate semi-final last night, Tuesday, and now look forward to a final.

Thank you to everyone who helped at Ballinamullan on Sunday when we hosted Tyrone Ladies championship matches.

Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Cathleen Treacy (Mullaslin), some of whom are actively involved in our club. Sincere sympathy, also, to the family circle of the late Cissie Meegan, some of whom are also involved in our club.
