Club Notes: August 7th

Winning numbers in the club lotto were 12, 13, 20, 25, 27 and six winners each won £20. The jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual on Monday evening. Club lotto can be played online via Klubfunder.

The club merchandise shop will be open tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm.

Our senior men defeated Coalisland last Wednesday evening and defeated Loughmacrory on Saturday. The reserves also defeated Loughmacrory on Saturday with a team that included an interesting blend of youthfulness and experience. Both teams are at home to Pomeroy on Friday evening at Ballinamullan and the seniors are away to Edendork next Wednesday, 14th August.

The best of luck to our reserves who play Omagh in the Reserve Knock-Out in Healy Park on Sunday at 2:30pm.

We wish a speedy recovery to Luke Murnaghan who suffered a serious injury last Wednesday in Coalisland.

Our senior ladies return to action tomorrow night, Thursday, with a game away to Moortown at 7:30pm and this Sunday they host Carrickmore at Ballinamullan at 6:00pm.

Our U16 boys’ grade one team were narrowly defeated by Ardboe last Thursday in a game that ebbed and flowed until the end. The development team defeated Eglish on the same evening. Both teams are back out next Thursday, 15th August, with games against Cookstown (grade one) and Donaghmore (development).

The U16 girls’ development team played Dromore last night, Tuesday, and play Omagh next Tuesday. The grade two U16 girls’ team play Sperrin Óg next Tuesday.

The U14 hurlers defeated Cumann Dúiche Néill, An Bhinn Bhorb on Monday evening and play Cúchulainn an Ghleanna next Tuesday.
