Club Notes: July 31st

Winning numbers in the club lotto were 8, 11, 16, 25, 28 and Fiona McGavigan won £100. The jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual on Monday evening. Club lotto can be played online via Klubfunder.

The club merchandise shop will be open tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm.

At Trillick last Friday evening, our senior men started slowly but finished strongly to defeat the home side by two points. Our reserve men, on the other hand, started strongly but had to withstand a strong Trillick comeback to finish as three-point winners. The senior men travel to Coalisland tonight, Wednesday. Both teams are at home to Loughmacrory this Saturday with games at 2:15pm (reserve) and 3:45pm (senior).

The senior ladies are due to return to action tomorrow night week, 8th August, when they travel to Moortown.

Our U16 boys’ grade one team had a good win away to Clonoe last Wednesday whilst the development team were defeated away to Cookstown. The grade one team are at home to Ardboe tomorrow night, Thursday, and the development team are at home to Eglish. Both games have 7:30pm throw-ins.

Our U16 girls’ teams played Coalisland Fianna (grade 2B) and Kildress (development) last night, Tuesday, and the development team play Dromore next Tuesday.

Our U14 hurlers defeated Fintona in the league last night, Tuesday, at Ballinamullan and are due to travel to Cumann Dúiche Néill, An Bhinn Bhorb next Monday evening.

We wish Kevin Green a speedy recovery from his recent injury and hope to see him back in Ballinamullan soon.
