Club Notes: September 21st

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo draw this week were 16, 18, 23, 24, 30 and Mairead McMullen and Katrina McGettigan each won £50. The jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual on Monday night. Don’t forget that club lotto can now be played online on Klubfunder.

The merchandise shop will be open tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm. Tomorrow night is the last evening to order and pay for the new hoodie, half-zips, crewneck sweaters and skinnies for Christmas. Our senior men are in championship action against Dromore in Healy Park on Friday night at 8:15pm. All support will be greatly appreciated. Tickets have to be purchased in advance of the match from the Tyrone website as there is no ability to pay at the gate.

Our senior ladies produced a great second-half comeback on Sunday to defeat Omagh in the championship semi-final in Carrickmore. Well done ladies. They have now reached the championship final which will be against Moortown this Sunday in Healy Park at 5:00pm. Everyone at the club wishes the ladies the very best of good luck in the final. All support greatly appreciated.

The U16 girls defeated Aghaloo last night, Tuesday.

The U15 boys were narrowly defeated by Fintona in the league on Sunday morning and this Saturday are away to Loughmacrory.

Well done to the U15 hurlers who defeated Duich Uí Néill last week.

Well done to our representatives in last weekend’s Scór Sinsear County Final especially our Set Dancers who were crowned County Champions.

We are running a juvenile open day on Sunday 2nd October from 11am to 1pm for children who are interested in playing handball aged 8 years to 12 years. Come along and give it a try!

Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Mary Burns. Mary’s husband and sons gave great service to the club on the field and the entire family were and are great supporters off the field.
