Club Notes: April 20th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo draw this week were 6, 7, 10, 16, 23 and Mairead McMullen won £100. The jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw. Don’t forget that club lotto can now be played online on Klubfunder.

Our senior ladies begin their league campaign this Sunday with a home game against Drumragh.

The minor girls are at home to Coalisland on Tuesday.

The U17 boys were defeated by Loughmacrory last Wednesday and now have a break until the county minors’ finish.

U15 hurling training takes place this evening, Thursday, with Féile coming up soon.

Our U14 girls played the Moy last night, Tuesday, and were narrowly defeated in a high-scoring encounter by 7-09 to 8-08.

Our U13 boys defeated Omagh on Saturday morning and are at home to Carrickmore tonight, Thursday.

Go Games for boys and girls will take place this weekend and Gaelic Start continues on Saturday.

Well done to our representatives in the various county teams at the weekend – Nathan Donnelly and Matthew Murnaghan (Seniors) and Ellie-Mae Nugent (Minor Ladies).

Good luck to Michael Rafferty and Gavin Potter in the U20 Ulster Final on Friday night against Cavan, and of course to Dermot Carlin, Leo Green and Damian Cox also.

Good luck to Matthew Howe and Shane McCaul in the Minor Ulster Championship match against Cavan on Saturday.

Congratulations to Michael Rafferty who has been announced as a 2022 Danske Bank Ulster Schools GAA Football All-Star through his performances with Dean Maguirc College.

There are a couple of fundraisers being run by the club at the moment – National Draw, Laps for the Ladies – and we ask our supporters to give generously. Thank you to everyone who supported the Easter Draw.

Online Entry for our Killyclogher 10K, which takes place on Saturday 11th June, is now open.

Our annual primary schools’ competition, The Donnelly Cup, will take place this year on Friday 17th June in Ballinamullan. This festival of football is always an event not to be missed.
