Club Notes: October 20th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 2, 8, 11, 17, 29 and we had a jackpot winner – Ben Monaghan won £5,000. Congratulations to Ben and thank you for your generous donation back to the club. The jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which will be made on Monday evening. Don’t forget that club lotto can now be played online on Klubfunder.

The merchandise shop has now re-opened on Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:00pm, subject to social distancing rules. If you have any queries, please contact Brenda (07717167770) or Mary (07746482170).

Last Saturday morning, our senior men defeated Dungannon in Ballinamullan in the league. They now play Trillick in Healy Park in the Championship Quarter Final on Friday night at 8:30pm. We wish them good luck. Don’t forget tickets have to be purchased in advance online and the game will also be streamed live on Tyrone GAA TV.

Last Sunday, our senior ladies were defeated by Trillick in the Tyrone Intermediate Championship Final. Commiserations to the girls – we have all enjoyed their journey this year and we are extremely proud of them all. Well done to the players and management team. This Saturday, they play Trillick again, this time in the league semi-final. We wish them good luck.

Our U16 girls played Trillick last night, Tuesday, and are away to St Macartan’s on Sunday.

Our U13 hurlers are due to play Carrickmore in the league on Saturday.

Well done to our U10 girls who won the Shield Final at the Errigal Ciaran Tournament on Saturday morning.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Big Breakfast and Take Your Pick for the ladies last weekend. Thank you, also, to everyone who helped out at Ballinamullan on Saturday, on what was a very busy day for the club.

Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late James McDermott, especially his grand-children who are playing with us.
