Last Friday’s Presentation Night for minor boys and juvenile girls proved to be very successful in many ways. Firstly, the size of the turn-out of supporters, players, family and friends and it also gave the players an opportunity to meet each other in a social atmosphere and it also gave the rest of the people a chance to say well done to the boys and girls on winning county titles. The importance of the night was underlined by the attendance of An Cathaoirleach of the Tyrone Ladies Board and our own county players, both ladies and men.
Congratulations to Oran Grimes who has been selected as a 2020 Ulster Schools All Star.
On Saturday and Sunday, we were represented on the field by Matthew Murnaghan, Conall McCann and Tiernán McCann with the Tyrone U20s and seniors. Good to luck to Tyrone and our representatives in the McKenna Cup final on Saturday evening.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Jenny Laing, especially her son Kenny, who was our long-serving Registrar and is a strong club supporter.
Sincere sympathy, also, to the family circle of the late Mary Meehan (Carrickmore), especially the Dolan family who are so active in our club.
