Our minor boys, without reaching the high performance of some of their games on their way to the county minor title, nevertheless played well and with a bit of luck could have been much closer on the scoreboard. Well done to the whole panel of players for their effort over the past twelve months, January to December, and congratulations also to the dedicated management team who prepared the players so well. Together they set high standards in preparation for competitive games. We will be looking forward to seeing them perform on the senior stage.
On Monday we had a very enjoyable social night for the presentation of certificates and trophies with our senior men and ladies as special guests. Our next big youth night will be to honour our U16 girls and our U18 boys.
Well done to James Maguire, Daithi McMullen and Karla Corcoran who played in the Breacach handball tournament last weekend. James and Daithi both done well in tough groups and Karla qualified for the semi-finals this weekend.
