On Sunday last our reserves fell to a heavy defeat at the hands of Clonoe. On a positive note we had a good turnout of players and in spite of the score-line we played some good football. Clonoe completed the double by defeating our seniors. This was a game which we deserved to get something out of especially with our second half performance. On Sunday we take on Eglish at 2:15pm and 3:45pm in Ballinamullan.
We offer sincere sympathy to Dr Ronan Brannigan on his recent bereavement. Ronan is the medial advisor for our club teams and for the Tyrone County hurling teams.
Our senior ladies were defeated by Dromore at the weekend and are due to play Aghyaran on Saturday.
Our minor boys defeated An Charraig Mhór in grade one last week and in grade three we lost to FIntona. Both teams have matches next Wednesday, 17th April, against Strabane and Gael N. Padraig.
The minor girls played Aghaloo last night, Tuesday, and are due to play Glenelly next Tuesday.
The U14 grade one boys were defeated by Loughmacrory and beat Trillick and are due to play Trillick again this Monday evening. The U14 grade four boys defeated Owen Roes on Saturday and play Drumquin on Monday evening.
The U14 girls defeated Sperrin Óg last week and play Dromore tomorrow night, Thursday.
Congratulations to Conall McGinn who was recently enrolled as a referee in the county.
