The U21 men had a good win over Omagh on Sunday. Their game with Dromore is on Tuesday at 8:00pm to avoid a clash with the MacRory Cup semi-final replay. We wish the CBS and all our own players all the best. We have a double interest because, as well as the players for Omagh CBS, Sean O’Kane is the manager of St Patrick’s Armagh.
Our senior and reserve men’s panels are stepping up their training but have lost three players through injury, Tiernan Cox, Declan Leonard and Paul Fox.
Our minor girls were defeated by Pomeroy last weekend and are home to Strabane this Sunday.
Tyrone senior ladies lost on Saturday but our own Caitlin Kelly featured among the scorers.
The U14 boys are ready to go with their league starting on 9th March. Training continues every Monday and Friday and all players welcome, both new and current.
Commiserations to our dancers who narrowly missed out on first place in the Scór Sinsear County Final on Sunday and a big thank you all who represented us and those who helped with us hosting the event.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Michael Teague, Cloughfin, Sixmilecross, and especially to his niece Antoinette McCusker, who does so much work for our club.
We were saddened by the death of Dermot McCaffrey last week. Dermot gave us good service as a whole-hearted player. Sincere sympathy to the whole family circle and especially his brother Brian, Mountfield, who serves us well as a player and now helps with underage training.
