Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 3, 6, 15, 22, 24 and eleven winners each received £10. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night. Well done to our senior men who got the new league off to a winning start. We would also acknowledge the sporting gesture of Greencastle in agreeing to change the game to Saturday to facilitate club players and members attending the wedding reception of Marty and Tracey. Reserve game will be played at the earliest available opportunity. This Sunday, the reserves and senior go to Edendork.
For our minor boys, it was very much a case of lightning striking twice as they fell victims to a last-minute goal in their game with An Charraig Mhór just as happened in the game with Pomeroy. So ended their run in this year’s league but they deserve credit for the spirit, determination and teamwork which they showed both in training and in games. They played in the championship last night, Tuesday, but unfortunately lost to An Charraig Mhór.
Our minor ladies also played last night, Tuesday, and defeated Dungannon 7-09 to 6-05.
The U16 hurlers play Shamrocks tomorrow night, Thursday. Hurling training continues every Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00pm for U8s/U10s and from 7:00 to 8:00pm for U12s/U14s with the U16s/U18s on Sundays from 7:00 to 8:00pm.
Our U14 girls are away to Beragh in the league tomorrow night, Thursday.
Our U14 boys footballers are away to Errigal Ciaran and home to Tattyreagh this Saturday after a good performance in the Féile last weekend.
On Sunday evening our senior ladies make the short trip to Omagh.
