Well done to those who put in such a great effort not only to have the development work completed for Friday night’s Championship game, but also to have the whole place tidy. A big thank you to all who stewarded on the night. This Saturday we host two games and a big turnout of stewards will be necessary to ensure the smooth running of the night’s programme. The first game begins at 6:30pm and stewards will be needed from 5:00pm onwards.
There will be a Club Committee Meeting tomorrow night, Thursday 4th June, at 8:30pm.
The Club Merchandise Shop will be open tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm.
This is a big weekend for our Club on the playing field as our Senior Men meet Errigal Ciaran in the Senior Football Championship on Sunday at 7:30pm in Carrickmore.
Our Minor Girls took the Minor League Title at the weekend finishing off an unbeaten run in the League campaign with a victory over Drumragh. Well done to the players and the management team of Clodagh Poyntz, Kate McAleer, Teri McCusker, Antoinette McCusker and Gary Sloan. They all worked hard for this success as did those who coached the girls as they progressed through the youth ranks.
Our Minor Dev Boys are away to Loughmacrory on Friday week, 19th June, in the League Quarter Final.
Our Juvenile Boys will go into competitive League action at the end of June. Last weekend, they had a good day out and some exciting action in the David Devine Tournament in Strabane playing three games to qualify for the Final and only losing out in the narrowest of margins. Thank you to Sigersons for the invitation.
Our Annual Primary Schools competition The Donnelly Cup will take place on Friday 19th June.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Eugene McKiernan who are all good supporters of the GAA and especially to his sons Dessie and Sean who are former players.
We also sympathise with our former player, youth coach and Scór participant Ciaran McElroy on the recent death of his father.
