Club Notes: May 27th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 6, 11, 12, 22, 30 and twelve winners each won £10. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
On Sunday last, our Reserves literally lost a two-point lead and two league points to a last minute goal from Donaghmore. A disappointing result for a good performance.
In the Senior game, we were generally in control and ran out fairly comfortable winners.
No game this weekend but we host the very first game in the 2015 Championship when Urney and Eskra come to Ballinamullan. All who are willing to act as Stewards are asked to attend from 6:30pm for a 7:45pm throw-in.
Our Annual 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk proved to be very successful on Saturday with even more runners and walkers than last year. A big thank you to all who helped organise this great social event and to those who worked so hard in the weeks leading up to the race and from an early time on Saturday morning. Our sponsors and the business people of Cappagh were generous in their support and of course all who took part made it so worthwhile. Our Club benefitted financially and socially and we were also able to give donations to two worthwhile charities based in the Parish.
Our Senior Ladies lost to Errigal Ciaran in a competitive league game and are away to Killeeshil tomorrow night, Thursday.
Last Saturday was Féile day for the U14 Hurlers of Tyrone and with six teams involved we had a good day’s Hurling. Well done to all our players and coaches.
Our U18 Development team are still waiting on their League Quarter Final.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Mrs Quinn, Ballinderry, and especially to our playing member Brendan McCartan.
