Club Notes: May 13th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 2, 12, 17, 22, 30 and Pauline Mullan and Eileen Swift each won £50. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
On Sunday last our depleted Reserve team fell to Eglish after a promising first half but too many were needed for the first team. In fact, these players contributed greatly to the Senior victory. Spirit, determination and playing for each other helped our Seniors to win the League points. No games this weekend.
We wish Tiérnan McCann, Conall McCann, Dermot Carlin and Mark Bradley and the Tyrone team all the best on Sunday.
Full range of club wear available in the Shop in Ballinamullan from 7:00 to 8:00pm tomorrow night, Thursday.
The development work on the stand side of the field has received many words of praise. Work will begin shortly on the burn side of the field, with the erection of a media block, videoing facilities, scoreboard and toilets. Financial support through sponsorship, name-plaques, Cairde Cappagh and of course voluntary work will be essential for completion of the work,
Our Minor Development team goes to Drumquin this Sunday for a game at 11:00am which could take them into the League quarter finals. Our Minor team playing in Grade 1 had a stop-start League campaign but put up a great show in the Championship before unluckily falling to Clonoe. We should see a number of these impressive young players later in the year playing in the U21 competition and for the Senior and Reserve teams.
The Senior Ladies are due to play a game away to Carrickmore on Saturday evening.
Well done to Amy, Jessica, Caitlin and Brian and the Tyrone Ladies U16s who won the Ulster Championship last weekend.
Our U14 Hurlers played well in Garvaghey last Friday night and the U16s were in action on Sunday morning.
Our annual 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk takes place next Saturday 23rd May. There is still time to register online or download entry forms. Registration will also be taken on the morning of the race.
Auditions for the Panto will take place on Friday evening in Dún Uladh at 7:00pm (9-17 years) and 8:15pm (18+).
