The big social night out on Saturday night was a great success. Well done to Ciaran McFadden, Enda McCrory and Joe Lowry. A very special word of thanks to Roisin Corcoran and Mairead McMullen for their excellent organisation and presentation of the Dinner Dance. The video work of our own Kieran McMullen greatly enhanced the night and added to the enjoyment.
An Cathaoirleach, Aidan Meenan, made presentations in recognition of services to the club in a wide range of activities.
Fear a Tí for the night was Sean O’Kane. His wit, intertwined with serious comments, struck a pleasant note for the night. As he would say using an Ghaeilge, bhísear fheabhas and you can’t get much better than that.
Local band the Rockits provided the music for the dance as only they can. A big thank you to the management and staff of the Mellon Country Hotel for the fine food, excellent service and warm welcome.
Coaching and training now under way for bys and girls, ladies and men as well as blitzes and coaching for hurling and handball.
We wish our Scor representatives all the best in the County Final this Sunday, 22nd February, at 3.00pm in Coalisland.
Thanks to those who helped with the Registration Day. A Registration Evening will be arranged soon for adult and youth membership.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Veronica Kelly, mother of our Senior Footballer Aidy.
