Club Notes: October 8th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 4, 9, 11, 12, 14 and twenty winners each won £5. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which will take place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
A lacklustre first half display by our Senior Footballers meant that we were chasing Dromore for most of the half. A greater sense of urgency produced a much better second half performance. We finished up trailing by four points, 1-15 to 2-08. This weekend we play Clonoe in the final League game before the top four competition. Date and time for the game in Clonoe to be confirmed.
Our U16 Boys fell by the narrowest of margins, a point, to Moortown in the League Quarter Final. Our team showed some flashes of good play throughout the League but were not consistent enough. Nevertheless, they should be making an impact at Minor level in 2015. A number of the younger players will still be eligible to play juvenile next.
Our Juvenile Girls were defeated in the Championship last weekend by a strong Clonoe team. Our girls have worked really hard this year.
Gaelic Start for P1, P2 and P3 children will begin on Saturday week, 18th October, in the Parish Centre.
There will be a Club Committee Meeting tomorrow night, Thursday, at 8:30pm in the Clubrooms.
