Club Notes: June 18th

Winning number in the Club Lottsodoo were 7, 9, 14, 15, 18 and there were twenty three winners who will each receive £5. The jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
Our U21 Men followed up their win over Errigal Ciaran with a very good performance against Dromore but it was not to be their night. They play An Charraig Mhór this Tuesday evening, 24th June.
Our Reserve Footballers travelled to Dromore last Friday and successfully progressed to the next round of the Reserve Knock Out. They play Eglish or Donaghmore on Friday night at 7:30pm in Ballinamullan.
Then on Sunday, both Reserves and Seniors are at home to Ardboe in what should be a good double header. The Reserve game is timed for 2:15pm and Senior throw in is at 3:45pm.
Our Senior Ladies were defeated by Errigal Ciaran on Monday evening and face St Macartan’s on Saturday evening at home. They are also away to Strabane on Tuesday evening.
Our Minor Boys are still waiting on the draw for the next round of the Championship.
Our Minor Hurlers played Carrickmore on last night and face Dungannon on Monday evening, 23rd June.
The main talking point this week was the successful Donnelly Cup Competition. A very big thank you to the boys and girls for their enthusiastic participation and also to their parents and teachers and to those who put so much into the smooth running of a great day’s football.
Odhran Potter has been in the wars again and we wish him a speedy recovery.
Congratulations to Michael Duddy on winning the gold medal in the javelin at the Special Olympics in Limerick.
Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Mrs Mary McCrossan. They are all very supportive of the GAA.
