Club Notes: April 16th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 1, 11, 14, 23, 30 and Eamon McGrath won £100. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for the next draw which takes place at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night week, 28th April. Please note that there will be no Bingo on Easter Monday, 21st April.

Our Senior Footballers got the League off to a winning start with a victory over Cookstown and the Reserves failed by just one point. Both teams travel to Eskra this Saturday, 19th April. The Reserve is timed for 3:30pm with the Senior in action at 5;00pm.

Our Ladies will celebrate the 2013 Double League and Championship success on Saturday night in The Village Inn. Family and friends are invited to attend the Presentation at 9:00pm.

Comhghairdeas to Gaelscoil na gCrann in their success in the All Ireland Drama Competition.

Our U14 Boys qualified for the concluding stages of the Féile. They have a League game this Monday night against Carrickmore at 6:45pm.

Our Minor Boys play Galbally tonight, Wednesday and our U16 Hurlers play Shamrocks tomorrow night, Thursday, at 6:45pm.

There is an U8 Boys Football Blitz on Saturday morning at 10:30am in Dromore.

Well done to the Tyrone Minor Ladies who defeated Armagh and good luck in the game with Monaghan on Saturday. We are represented by Louise Sloan, Noleen Carland and Clodagh McGinn. The Tyrone U16 Ladies play Donegal in Strabane on Monday and we wish Caitlin Kelly all the best.

The Club Merchandise Shop will be closed tomorrow night, Holy Thursday, but will reopen next Thursday.

Please note that Entry Forms are now available for our 10K and 5K Runs, which takes place on Saturday 24th May.

Sincere sympathy to the family circle of the late Mrs Bernadette McGrath, Newry and especially to her brother, Anthony Connolly who has for long been a stalwart in our Club.
