Club Notes: February 19th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 9, 14, 18, 22, 28 and Rosella Kelly won £100. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for the next draw which takes place at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.

Club Meeting tomorrow night, Thursday 20th, at 7:00pm.

Club Merchandise on sale in the Clubrooms tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm.

There will be a get-together tomorrow night, Thursday. at 8:00pm in the Clubrooms for all those who would like to help in the compilation of a DVD on the history of the GAA in our Parish.

If you would like to buy a ticket in the National GAA Draw please contact Brendan Harkin 07825271800. Maybe you could also sell a few to family members or friends. The prizes are really attractive and all sales go to Club funds. Those who are selling tickets are asked to make their Returns on Monday 24th February or Monday 3rd March in the Parish Centre from 9:30 to 10:30pm.

The special event to mark the winning of the Senior Football Championship in 2003 is scheduled for Saturday week, 1st March.

The Come Dine With Cappagh Country Special will be on Saturday 5th April. Last year’s Double Winning Senior Ladies team is planning a celebratory get-together on Saturday 19th April.

The crochetting and knitting group meet on Wednesday nights in the Clubrooms and new-comers are welcome.

Our U14 Footballers had a good opening to the year with a fine performance against the Moy.

Our Senior Footballers defeated Whitecross last Sunday and will play Strabane this Sunday in the Ulster League.

Gaelic Start continues this Saturday morning at 9:45am in the Parish Centre. It got off to a noisy but enjoyable start last weekend. Well done to the coaches and parents.
