Club Notes: August 7th

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 1, 2, 5, 21, 29 and twenty winners each won £5. The main jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.

Well done to Dermot, Tiernán and the Tyrone Senior Footballers and to Sean and the Tyrone Minors on last week’s victories. Good luck in the All Ireland Semi Finals.

This weekend we play Clonoe in the U21 competition on Friday and Omagh on Sunday in the Reserve and Senior Leagues.

The U16 Footballers have a match tonight, Wednesday, against Galbally in Ballinamullan at 7:30pm. All support would be appreciated.

Mary and Pauline say that the Shop for the sale of Club Merchandise will be open tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm.

Congratulations to our U14 Girls team and our Senior Ladies team on their recent victories and good luck in their Championship Finals. The U14 Girls Championship Final against Clonoe is on Saturday evening. Venue to be confirmed.

The next test for our Senior Hurlers will be the forthcoming Championship.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family circle of Darren McBrearty at this most difficult time.

Youth Football

U8 and U10 coaching resumed on Tuesday night after the summer break. It continues this Tuesday from 6:15 to 7:30pm. The next U8 Blitz date is this Saturday 10th August. The next U10 Blitz date is Saturday 17th August.

U12 coaching continues Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 7:30pm. The next game is at home to Dromore on Monday 12th Aug at 7:00pm.

The U16s play Galbally tonight, Wednesday, and support from family, friends and Club Members would be greatly appreciated. Saturday’s proposed game with Owen Roe’s has been postponed. They are at home to Omagh next Wednesday night.

Ladies Football

Congratulations to the U14 Ladies on winning the League Final. It was a superb effort by all involved.

Hurling

U8 and U10 Hurling coaching will resume after Football training next Tuesday evening, 13th August, after the Summer break with the next County Hurling Blitz fixed for Saturday 7th September.

Our Minor Hurlers bowed out of the Championship on Sunday.

Senior Hurling training is on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm and everyone to attend as the Senior Championship is to be confirmed soon.
