Club Notes: May 22nd

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 7, 9, 10, 18, 29 and twenty winners each received £5. The main jackpot remains at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.

Our Club is driven by teamwork. On Friday night last a great team performance from our Senior Footballers just failed to get the League points as we fell to Na Fianna 0-13 to 2-08. On Sunday our Reserve Footballers earned a draw with Coalisland. A good team effort secured the League point.

In between these two team performances on the field we had an efficient and enthusiastic team of stewards who ensured the smooth running of our successful Annual 10K and 5K Road Run and Walk. Our hospitality team was in action on Friday night, Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon and made sure that Footballers, Officials, Spectators, Runners and Walkers were well looked after.

On Monday night our U14 Development Football Team and last night our U14 Footballers played Championship games. On Monday night our U14 and Senior Hurlers played Dungannon. The Senior Hurlers are away to Carrickmore tomorrow night, Thursday. The U14 Hurlers are away to Shamrocks on Monday night.  Our U14 Girls are in Championship action this Saturday.

Another team of workers helped to run the Bingo and Lotto.

With this wide range of activities and the teams required not just to compete but to look after affairs there must be a place for you. Your involvement will be both welcomed and appreciated.

A big thank you to all who took part in our Run and Walk on Saturday and to those who organised and sponsored it.

Reminder that the Gina Carrigan Forget Me Not Cycle takes place this Sunday.

Those who have put in a request for tickets for the Ulster Championship game should collect them tomorrow night, Thursday, 8:00 to 9:00pm in the Clubrooms. Good luck to the two Tyrone Teams and to our own Sean Fox, Dermot Carlin and Tiernán McCann.

Tomorrow evening, Thursday, and every Thursday evening there will be an opportunity for fitting and placing orders for Club Wear 7:00 to 8:00pm in the Merchandise Shop in the Clubrooms. Please note if ordering for special occasions such as a Birthday to allow a few weeks for production and delivery.
